I tried this VPN for few hours. The first impression - you never know if you are on VPN or not. It silently disconnects from the gateway and does not announce it... I do not know the reasons of disconnects, but it happens with 5 minutes intervals on few servers in different countries. I suspect that there is a correlation with the connections - the interruptions usually happen on file downloads. Or maybe they have very limited number of IP addresses? It does not allow a kill switch: when the VPN disconnects, the site you connected is reloaded using open connection without any notification. It does not work with torrents and some streaming services. This policy is listed in the FAQs and in the founder's interview. The "monthly use" is in fact in 3-month increments. I thought that the use of VPN could reduce the ads which are popping up, but it happens to be wrong. Yes, it is a low-cost but with all these limitations it is not very useful or usable.
VPN99 website states they are based in Cardiff, Wales and therefore as part of the UK and EU they are governed by those laws. Also they appear to use your data for more than most general websites. No thanks!
Hello everyone, in addition to making a compromise of a VPN and better looking for better information, on this VPN99 I have the evidence that this is a mockery I already made two payments with different e-mails and cards, I have the confirmations, the structures that the provider offers are false, the first payment was 1 month the second were 3 months, so family be very careful this VPN99 is not better option.
